Designed by Berlin-based Studio 7.5, the Zeph Chair collection is distinguished by a colorful one-piece seat and flexible back. Through the same research-backed ergonomics that led to the design of the multipurpose chair and stool introduced in 2022, Zeph Side Chair brings a natural recline to the four-leg side and visitor seating category and supports a variety of applications including focused work, collaborative small group, and fluid educational settings.

Herman Miller expands offering of archival posters with five new designs  

ZEELAND, MICH: Herman Miller continues to introduce iconic posters from its extensive archives, with the launch of five new archival prints that honor the brand’s rich graphic design history and its talented designers. Launching on February 27th, the revivals embody the boldness, rigor, joy, and tactility innate to the Herman Miller brand, and serve as visual time capsules. The posters—spanning 1960 to 1981—represent an era of design that is experiencing a strong resurgence in popular culture. Throughout its history, Herman Miller has worked with many graphic designers and artists who came to define the look and feel of their respective eras. This creativity often manifested in the form of striking posters that encapsulated the spirit of their time. Each graphic was visionary and bold for its time, representing the design values Herman Miller leaned into when planning its new brand identity, launched in January 2024.

September 20, 2023 - Zeeland, Mich: To celebrate its 100th anniversary year, Herman Miller—renowned for its enduring original designs—is giving discerning collectors and design enthusiasts a peek into its past with a curated selection of 100 rare vintage pieces. Herman Miller Vintage is being launched in partnership with esteemed auction house Wright. This collaboration is a natural fit between the brands, as both have long been destinations for timeless, heirloom-quality furniture and stewards of sustainable, circular models. Working in partnership with Herman Miller, Wright has sourced and meticulously vetted 100 pieces produced throughout Herman Miller’s rich history. The collection includes both iconic and hard-to-find pieces, with many featuring custom fabrics and the remarkable patina that only the most well-preserved vintage pieces can offer. The full collection will be available online starting September 20; select pieces will be showcased through the end of October at Herman Miller’s Park Avenue store in New York, the Herman Miller contract showroom in Los Angeles, and Wright’s showroom in Chicago. The iconic stool, previously titled the Eames Walnut Stool, has until now been available in solid turned walnut and in three shapes. The renamed Eames Turned Stool adds a fourth shape to the collection and expands the finish options to include ebonized ash.
